Although the traditional Easter Egg Hunt is fun and, well, traditional, why not add other activities to the fun?! Have some tables or areas set up to add one or more of the following activities for your children to participate in once the egg hunt is over!
This traditional Easter game is played every year on the White House lawn with the United States of America's President in attendence! The game is a race, where the children push their hard-boiled egg to the finish line with a spoon.

Set up two teams with equal players. Have one person from each team carry a hard-boiled egg on a spoon to a line on the other end of the playing area and then back to their line, where they must transfer the egg to the next person's spoon. The first team that has all their players take their turn wins. |
This game is played like the traditional "Duck, Duck, Goose," except the calling words are changed. When the "chick" is called, both players must hop around the circle.
|
Play Pin the Tail on the Bunn like "Pin the Tail on the Donkey," but use a poster of a bunny and use cotton balls for the tail. |
These games can be played online, so the only things you need are a computer and an internet connection.
