Limitations

Sometimes I get very frustrated when you have limitations on how to teach your classroom. It's very difficult to teach when you have someone over you all the time and they make it seem like everything you do is wrong. I do second guess myself about being in this teaching profession because of that. How can you explore with the children or open their minds up to new things when you have limits to what can be taught in your in your classroom? I have been getting stressed out lately - I don't know my children in my classroom because I'm so concerned about doing something wrong, can't really have fun with the lesson because the school lacks supplies. The management there really takes the zeal out of my teaching.

It is sad that the director of the center is limiting the way you interact with the children. There are a lot of ideas on the internet that do not cost a lot of money. Try to explore the interests of the children in your class. If they are collecting catepillars do art, math, and science activities about catepillars. Let the children take the lead and guide you.
