The K4 Footsteps for Fours lessons in the comprehensive Teacher's Manuals feature a welcome with semi-scripted instructions, a materials list, skill steps covered, and lessons arranged by subjects. Covering language arts, pre-reading, phonics, math, handwriting, social studies, and science segments, lessons also incorporate center ideas, music, art, and cooking. Each subject includes a scripted lesson with teacher instructions, and optional activities. The appendix includes Bible action truths, music & lyrics, reproducible sheets, and visuals, while the Teacher's Toolkit CD-ROM provides many extra teacher helps such as weekly, theme-related letterheads, center signs, and name tag templates to assist with both classroom and small group activities.

Eye-catching color fills the pages of the "Footsteps for Four" Activity Packet. This book contains the activity sheets, booklets, coloring pages, cut and paste, matching and other fun sheets, as well as punch-out signs, cards, and pieces. Lesson numbers are referenced for teacher's to easily find the matching lesson.

Little ones will love practicing their new-found handwriting skills with the Writing Packet. Each letter references a lesson number, and includes a rhyme; large and small tracing letters for both upper-and-lower case; pictures to color, and some full-color activities.

Practice Cards flashcards includes alphabet, number, and shape/color flashcards in a convenient slim format. The alphabet cards feature upper and lower-case letters in italic font with a photograph of an object that begins with that letter; vowels are distinguished by green print. The letters cards feature a number of objects that students are to count; the back of the card shows the actual Arabic number. The shape cards show a shape in a certain color; parents may quiz children on either.

The included Audio CD includes the songs referenced in the lessons.
